Install atak and access settings

Go to the Google Play Store and install ATAK. You should have been sent two files. One is a Trust Store file and the other should have your callsign in the name. Save these files to your device, where you know how to access them.

Open up ATAK and click the three hash marks in the upper right hand of your screen. Then scroll down in the menu that pops up and click on Settings.

Once the Settings are open, click on Network Preferences.

Set up TAK server

Click on TAK Servers. You will now be brought to an empty page. Click the three dots in the upper right hand corner of your screen and select Add.

Enter the credentials

You will need to enter the credentials exactly as follows (also in image above):

Name: MordeTAK
Address: mordekyle.net
Uncheck Use Authentication
Uncheck Enroll for Client Certificate
Check Enroll with Preconfigured Trust
Check Advanced Options
Streaming Protocol: SSL
Server Port: 8089
Uncheck Use default SSL/TLS Certificates
Click on Import Trust Store and navigate to where you saved the supplied files. Select the file “truststore-TAK-ID-CA-01.p12”
Click on Import Client Certificate and navigate to where you saved the supplied files. Select the file that has your callsign in it.
Fill out both Name Password Fields with the password “atakatak”. Do not include the quotation marks.
Select OK.
